I've had the pencil drawing for this painting on watercolor paper since 2011. I ran across it again the other day and decided to finish the painting. This painting is based on a photograph I took while I was out painting with the Missouri Plein Air Painters Association (MOPAPA) in July of 2011. The base drawing for this piece is based on a value sketch I made from the photo.
